Annapolis Veterinary Holistic Healthcare

Our holistic veterinarians' goal is to teach our clients how to maintain health in their pets and to determine the best holistic method to stimulate the body to heal itself when problems occur.
In the holistic paradigm of healing, practitioners believe that the individual is designed to heal themselves and protect themselves from disease. It is believed that disease only establishes itself when the body is out of balance or for other external factors, unable to protect and/or heal it self.
Francine K. Rattner, VMD
Dr. Rattner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and has been with South Arundel ever since. Over the years, she has developed an interest in Holistic medicine as an adjunct or alternative to conventional treatment. She attended an extensive yearlong training course in Veterinary Homeopathic Medicine under Dr. Richard Pitcairn in 1995/1996 and attends advanced veterinary homeopathic courses. She is certified by the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy. Providing optimal health for your pets through nutrition counseling is a large part of the holistic aspect of her practice.
